About Mihir
Founder. Engineer. Technical Account Manager / Application Engineer. Connecting the technology, the people using it, and the work of building a product.
Los Angeles, California
My background brings together RF and software engineering, engineering management, and customer-facing technical work. At MathWorks, I have worked on tools that help engineers model, design, and analyze antennas, and on translating technical needs into useful workflows.
At USC, my study of Engineering Management connected that technical background with entrepreneurship and commercialization. Projects such as OneCard and Trojan Resume created another setting for exploring how a product can address a practical need.
Today, alongside my Technical Account Manager / Application Engineer role, I build independent products spanning nutrition, AI workspaces, and communication. Those activities overlap: the shared interest is making complex systems useful to people.

“I have had the pleasure of knowing Mihir Kavishwar for over two years, having met at the University of Southern California. We collaborated on a project to build a platform connecting landlords with students seeking housing. Mihir’s passion for technology and innovation, paired with his creativity and technical expertise, made him an exceptional teammate.
Mihir is deeply knowledgeable about the tech industry, AI tools, and product design. His ability to blend technical expertise with creative problem-solving is outstanding. As a hobbyist guitarist, his artistic side enhances his ability to think outside the box when designing user-centric products or crafting marketing strategies.
With his entrepreneurial mindset, technical skills, and leadership abilities, Mihir is well-equipped for product management and engineering leadership roles. Any organization would benefit greatly from his expertise, passion, and innovative thinking. I strongly recommend him.”

“Mihir is a former student of mine and a terrific one. He's smart, thoughtful, and collaborative.
What makes him a great contributor is his generosity and respect for the opinions, skills and contributions of others he works with. He's clearly talented and technically adept himself. But he also has the rare trait of bringing out the talents and abilities in others he works with.
I recommend him strongly for technical and related roles.”

“I have worked with Mihir for about 4 years now. We started working together when Mihir was in his final year at Symbiosis institute. I was his project sponsor and Mihir’s main task was to design fractal antennas for Antenna Toolbox. It took him about 3 months to create a brand-new antenna catalog element. He showed a good understanding of the EM concepts as well as the software architecture which was necessary to complete the project successfully. His impressive work led to an offer for a full-time position in my team. Over the last 3 years since joining the team, Mihir has done a great job taking on complex projects and completing them on time. He is one of the go-to guys in my team when it comes to developing UI applications. He is an expert at design patterns and develops stable and reusable architecture. Mihir is highly organized person, which ensures that even the minutest detail about the project do not escape him. Every year at MathWorks Mihir has performed above and beyond the job responsibilities.”

“I found Mihir keen on exploring innovative solutions to the problems faced by people. He developed a haptic feedback vibration vest for the visually handicapped for his B. Tech. project. In this, a visually handicapped person is able to get feedback of the surrounding obstacles in the form of vibrations through small vibration motors attached to their vest. […] He also explored opportunities to productize the prototype. Mihir communicates well and connects easily with people. I wish Mihir great success in his future endeavour.”
